Every year, I look forward to the sunflower bloom at Colby Farm in Newbury, MA. There’s something about those golden fields that feels like pure summer magic, especially when paired with the excitement and energy of senior portraits. I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be offering limited senior picture sessions at Colby Farm this season, scheduled for the late afternoon of Saturday, September 6th. Of course, the exact bloom time is still to be determined, since nature doesn’t follow a strict calendar. But I’ve planned these dates to align with the farm’s typical peak, and I’ll be keeping a close eye on the flowers to make sure we catch them at their best.

Colby Farm is one of the most iconic spots in Eastern Massachusetts, and it’s easy to see why. The sunflowers stretch out like a sea of gold, creating a vibrant and joyful backdrop that’s perfect for celebrating this milestone moment. Whether you’re looking for something playful, elegant, or simply timeless, this setting offers endless possibilities.

Please keep in mind that Colby Farm reserves the right to close the sunflower fields without notice. If that happens, we’ll work together to reschedule your session at a different location, one that’s just as beautiful, even if it doesn’t feature sunflowers.
